Practice staying low on the drive and use of the arm bar.
If the defender is off you – shoot in stride
If the defender is tight – back up and go (hip swivel or step back)
To see what the defender wants to do – use a simple cross over and watch to see what she does – learn & attack.
Once you get by the defender –
1. Identify the next defender
2. Where is my original defender?
Place two cones at the 3-point line. Make a move at the cones, picking one up. Place it down mid-lane and finish. Emphasizes staying low and use of the arm bar.
Now sprint dribble back to the top and make a move at the remaining cone. Pick up the cone at mid-lane (arm bar), put it down under the basket and finish with a reverse layup.
Sprint dribble back to the top. Make a move at the top cone, pick it up, drive around the cone under the basket and finish with a hook.
