Practice shooting using both the 1:2 step and an inside foot square up.
This is a timed drill. Set five spots on the floor. One at each corner, each elbow and at the top of the key. At each spot do the following: step at the defender and back into a square, balanced position and shoot; step to the right with the right foot then into a 1:2 finish; cross step to the left with the right foot into a 1:2 finish. Make 3 shots from each move. Complete the drill in 1:30 – 2:00.
