Practice a reverse pivot and rip through move.
Pivot on the right foot. With the back to the basket, bring the left foot behind the right foot and square up facing the basket. Stay low while pivoting – bring the ball to the ankle. This keeps the defender from moving in close to the body Sweep back, hard and low into a long and efficient step towards the basket (or open space). Also practice pivots off the left foot (right foot behind the left foot).
