Description

Practice this move to hop into space.

Summary

The player initiates the move with a crossover dribble, reverse dribble etc. at the 3-point circle then drives toward the basket. One defender is in the key blocking the angle to the direct layup. As the offensive player approaches the defender, she bounds off one foot, turning her back to the defender, putting her body between the defender and the rim, landing in a two-foot jump stop and going up for the layup. Add a second defender to emphasize the space / split.
