Core strength for improving balance and vertical jump. (video option)

Summary

Trainer Alan Stein suggests core strength drills for improving balance and vertical jump.

1.      Raise a heavy ball overhead and throw it down hard 6-10 times.

2.      Reach overhead to the side with a heavy ball then throw it diagonally across your body and down to the floor, hard, 6 -10 times.

3.      Plank to Superman - Raise in a plank position. Extend your left arm and your right leg out while holding the position. Switch to the right arm and left leg. Repeat five times with each arm – leg.
