Practice quick change of direction moves.
Set up cones in the key – at the block, opposite hash marks in the lane and at each elbow. The player starts dribbling from the block across to the 1st hash mark, dribbles between the legs and crosses to the opposite hash mark, reverse dribbles and crosses to the opposite elbow dribbles behind the back across the lane to the other elbow and steps in with the inside foot, squares up and shoots. Repeat in the opposite direction.
