Description

Dribble warm up routine.

Summary

2 Ball pounds – 30 seconds

2 Ball Alternating Pounds – 30 seconds

Pound and Split – 30 seconds

Pound and Behind – 30 seconds

X-Out Layups – 30 seconds – different finishes

Free Throws – 30 seconds

Pound / Release / Catch & Shoot – Pound a ball high in the air. Sprint to a cone and back, catch the ball (before it hits the ground) and shoot. 1 minute each side

Attacking Downhill – from mid-court, make a move at a chair set near the 3 point line and finish with a pull up jump shot. 1 minute each side

Move & Counter – from mid-court, make a move at a chair set near the 3 point line then make a counter move at a cone set 6-8 feet past the chair. 1 minute each side

Pick & Roll – set a chair at the 3-point line half way between the top and the wing. 1st option – no hedge by the screen defender – attack downhill and finish. 2nd option – weak hedge by the screen defender – split it with a push through dribble and finish. 3rd option – screen defender shows early – reject the screen rotate the hips and finish. 1 minute left side 1 minute right side
