Start in the block. Use a reverse pivot to face up. Take one dribble to the center of the lane and jump stop (facing the sideline) . On the landing elevate with the inside shoulder facing the rim, eyes fixed on the target, and extend the outside arm up as high as you can reach and flick the wrist to shoot the shot. The inside hand keeps defenders away from the ball. Note; The Jump Hook progression video shows the move with one long step rather than a jump stop.
