Set up a big at the block and an offensive player outside the lane with a ball. The offensive player will toss the ball up off the backboard, jump to rebound the ball, set her feet and score. Teach the offensive player to always stay square to the basket – facing the backboard. In this position she can “T” up the defender, initiating contact without drawing a charge. The player who initiates contact usually wins. Initiate the contact jumping up and bumping the defender as she moves to block the shot, The bump creates space fo the finish. Do not extend the elbow or push off.
