Four lines are formed under the basket (#1-4), one line at the sideline, foul line extended (#5). The middle two baseline lines (#2&3) come out to the free throw line facing the coach (shooter). On the shot the two outside lines (#1&4) sprint into outlet position, one on either side. The line at the foul line extended (#5) sprints to midcourt to defend the fast break. The middle line players (#2&3) box out and retrieve the rebound, pivot and throw an outlet pass to a player at the foul line extended (#1 or 4). These players (the outlet players) start a 2 on 1 fast break. #5 defends and stops the ball. The player who did not get the rebound sprints down court to help defend the 2 on 1 break.
