Practice rebounding in a sequenced, step by step activity.
Summary

Two rows of players line up facing each other about 20 feet apart; player #1 “shoots” the ball up to player #2 and closes out putting an arm bar in player #2’s chest, pivots using a reverse pivot and boxes out. In the second-round player #2 takes one dribble to the side, player #1 moves and maintains the box out. In the 3rd round after dribbling once player #2 “shoots” the ball with arch, about 20 feet away. Player #1 retrieves the ball with player #2 closing immediately. Player #1 catches and reverse pivots into player two, elbows high, ball chinned.
