Practice getting low on the curl cut and other techniques for getting separation.
Works fundamental skills related to curl cuts, dropping the hips to explode into the cut. When a defender is following you on the curl cut drop your hips, get low and slow down to allow the defender to hit / bump you (stops defender’s momentum and creates separation). Then explode into the cut.
Set a cone up at the block and just below the elbow. Start at the block. Toss the ball out high towards the free throw line. Step out towards the first cone. Stop, drop your hips to pick up the cone and move to the next cone near the elbow. Put down the first cone and curl around the elbow cone. Catch the ball and shoot.
