Three techniques for finishing through contact:
Use a two foot finish. Off the dribble plant the outside foot, then the inside foot, landing with a two foot finish and elevate to the basket. This footwork will orient your body so the shoulder contacts the defender's chest and creates space for the finish.
Dribble right to the defender's body and, using a two foot finish for control, add a shot fake and finish.
Use a veer step to gain position. As you get by the defender's hip, step with the inside foot and cut in front of the defender, bumping her with the shoulder.
