Description

Practice making reverse layups from different angles under the basket.

Summary

Start under the rim, behind the backboard. Step out to the right on a 45° angle and make a reverse layup off the backboard. Make five shots. Step out to the left on a 45° angle and make a reverse layup off the backboard. Make five shots. Step out to the right on a 45° angle and make a baby hook shot (swish). Make five shots. Step out to the left on a 45° angle and make baby hook shot (swish). Make five shots. Step to the front of the rim and shoot back to the rim facing the opposite basket. Alternate left and right hands. Make five shots with each hand. Practice drop step layups, left and right side. Make five shots on each side. ADVANCED PLAYERS: practice making the reverse layups with both the inside and outside hands.
