Practice quick reactions to gain control of a loose ball.
Two lines – one player at each elbow, facing each other. 2 players step forward about 4 feet apart. The coach instructs the players to place their hands on their face or on their knees, straight out, over their head, behind their back etc. The coach tosses the ball (or bounces it) between the players, waist high. The players try to recover the ball and play 1 on 1.
