Practice acceleration and deceleration.

Summary

Start at the baseline. Use a plyo step (split and go) and sprint to the foul line, decelerate with a 1:2 step or a jump stop. Backpedal to the baseline repeat. Alternate the start to include toes taps to plyo step and side hops to plyo step.
