Summary

Set up with a player at each elbow – one with a ball, a player in the key, midway between the rim and the foul line and a player on each wing, level with the “key” player. On the coach’s signal the two “elbow” players begin to sprint down the court passing the ball ahead. The “key” player sprints after them trying to catch and defend the layup. If, and only if, the defender catches the passers can the passers use the dribble. The two outside players sprint down court. On the score, the defender grabs the ball out of bounds. The two outside players plant their left foot on the 3 point line, pivot and begin to sprint back in the other direction. The defender throws the outlet pass to one of the outside players who are fast breaking down court. The original offensive players sprint back to defend the fast break.
